What's New in KPW

KPWCA Members Meeting, Tuesday, September 28th

in Robinson Secondary Recital Hall, 7:30 PM

This is an important KPWCA members' meeting.  President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer for the next 2 years will be elected.  If you are interested in applying or know someone who you believe would be good in one of these positions, please call Member-At-Large Brian Luther, 703-978-0272.

The 2011 KPWCA budget will be set by the members and their proxy votes at the same meeting.   The Herald in September will present a budget that reflects lower allocation to committees based on less remaining prior funds.  The proposed 2011 budget assumes an increase of annual membership dues from $15 to $20 (the first increase since 1983).  Without this dues increase and resident participation in becoming members, further cuts in committee functions will be needed to balance KPWCA's budget.

Please come to the meeting and participate.  Your voice and vote are needed.  KPWCA is your organization.

Suspicious Activity - What Should You Do? 703 691-2131

What should you do if you see or hear suspicious actiity while walking or driving therough the neighborhood.  Call the Fairfax County Police Department non-emergency number at 703 691-2131.  If it is an emergency, of course just dial 9-1-1.  You do not have to leave a name, and you do not have to remain on the scene until a police cruiser arrives.  So, if you live near our neighborhood pools, go outside and just listen now nd then.  Mischief is rarely made in silence.
